The Movenpick Resort, Aqaba
Mar 9th, 2004 by Chuck Holton
If you thought Movenpick was some sort of antique farm implement, you aren’t alone. In actuality, it is one of the nicest European hotel chains. Their resort on the gulf of Aqaba is nothing short of spectacular.
The main resort building is connected to the beach by a bridge, which also contains a lap pool. The view from our rooms’ balconies is stunning. It is a shocking contrast since yesterday afternoon we were sipping tea in the tent of a bedhouin family in the middle of wadi rum - with camels, chickens, goats, etc, picking about the tent. More about that later.
Hooray for internet access! Pictures to follow!
